BenFen will conduct a mainnet upgrade and maintenance on March 10, 2026, at 15:00 (UTC+8). The primary purpose of this upgrade is to enhance and optimize the stablecoin system, gradually enabling the ecosystem split and expansion from BUSD to USDT and USDC, thereby improving stablecoin liquidity and cross-chain compatibility within the BenFen ecosystem.
After the upgrade is completed, the BenFen Chain will introduce the following improvements:
- Stablecoin System Upgrade: BUSD will be split and expanded into USDT and USDC within the ecosystem.
- New USDT / USDC Cross-Chain Support: Users will be able to bridge USDT and USDC into and out of the BenFen Chain at a 1:1 ratio, though USDT and USDC cannot be converted into each other.
- BUSD Cross-Chain Function Unchanged: Users can continue using BUSD for cross-chain transfers and on-chain interactions as usual.
- Expanded Ecosystem Application Support: Applications and services within the BenFen ecosystem will gradually support use cases for USDT and USDC.
During the upgrade period, on-chain operations (including cross-chain transfers, payments, staking, and asset interactions) will be temporarily unavailable. To avoid disruption, please plan your operations in advance.
The upgrade is expected to be completed on March 10, 2026, at 17:00 (UTC+8), after which normal network operations will resume. Following the upgrade, the BenFen stablecoin system will be further strengthened, enhancing ecosystem liquidity and asset interoperability.
